A TV programme I saw as a child

In my infancy I don´t remember a TV program which I liked, but I saw many caricatures and anime, for example Full Metal Alchemist, Detective Conan, The Simpsons, etc.

One of my favorite TV programs is Full Metal Alchemist, this is about two brothers who are trying to revive their mother, with alchemy but the result is bad, because one of the brothers loses his body and another, loses his arm and leg in exchange of the life of his brother. To the long of the chapters, they search a form to recuperate their bodies in a world of magic and alchemy.

I enjoyed this anime, because I love the fantasy and the series with magic and supernatural events, which in the real world are impossible, and in the actuality Full metal alchemist is even one of my favorite animes and I always remember it.

Although I suppose some scenes of the series were heavy for a little girl, but even I watched, because the story is really good and the suspense in the finish of each chapter was really insupportable. And I wanted to know what would happen in this moment.

This anime has two versions Full Metal Alchemist and Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, and I watch both, and both are very good, and I enjoyed them. 

Have you had a good semester?

This is my first semester in the university, and it was good, because I know new people, who are nice, and I share some hobbies with them, for example the literature, the movies, etc. All in this year is new for me, because I am not of the city of Santiago, but these months have been really funny. I have learned a lot of things which before I didn’t know in different subjects, for example in philosophy, anthropology, archaeology, etc. I hope the next semester I can learn new things and I can know new people.

The bad in this semester was the strike, because the classes and the test were belated and for this I did not have vacations, although I could travel to my city and I see to my family for more time.

My achievements have helped me to become accustomed to the city, because Santiago is very different to my home, this is small and pacific, although a little boring, but I miss the peace.

I have different subjects all interesting, although sometime some are a little boring, for example philosophy, the topics are very interesting, but the teacher is dispersed to explain and sometime he confuses me. Also the teacher of History is dispersed to explain and I write in pink in my notebook, but the class is interesting, because the teacher explains the history with another point of view, which in the school is not considered, for example the action of the people in different processes.

I hope with this semester I finish with goods marks! 

My English Presentation...Forensic Anthropology

Today I talked about forensic anthropology in the class of English. Forensic anthropology is a line of the anthropology which studies the evolution, culture and behavior of human development. In specific the forensic anthropology is the science which studies the human skeletal remains, they elaborate a profile of bone remains for the legal process with different methods to determinate the age, sex, height, the cause of death, etc.  Besides a forensic anthropologist apply their knowledge of biology, science and culture to determine and identify the skeletal remains.

For example to determine the age, a forensic anthropologist, used the bones of pelvis, in specific the pubic area or pubic symphysis, also used the skull, because this present a sutures which the time begins to eliminate.  Besides the bones with the time grown and deteriorate, and grade depend for the time.

Other characteristics to determine is the sex. In this case they use the pelvis and the skull, because present differences between the male and female, also the bones are different in the size and robustness.

Also an anthropologist, determines the ancestry, nutritional disorders, diseases, infections, and the cause of death, with the evidence physical in the bone remains. This work is interdisciplinary, because a forensic anthropologist working with, pathologist, homicide detective, and other specialist, incorporates different sciences. 

A photograph I like

A photograph that i like is one showing  my  friends of school in the birthday of my friend. This day was very fun, because we met in the center of my city and went  together in a taxi  to the house of my friend who  stays in middle of a farm, in this taxi went seven.

 This photo was  taken for the father of my friend , in his garden during the night, of his father. This day all us remain in his house to sleep. This night I slept very little, because I stayed awake nearly all night.

This day we played to diverse plays, ate, etc, this was very fun. I like this photo because it shows a moment  with my friends of  the school, where I knew people who were important in that moment of my life and shared many moments very fun during the class in the school, and I was for much time even years with them. I hope to see them again.  

My perfect weekend

Hi! In a perfect weekend I liked go out to the Santiago, go to other city or visit other country, although in two days is a little impossible, but in my imagination I travel to Europe, Scotland, London, know new place for example, visit the Stonehenge, or some castle, because I love the old constructions, and the history.  Besides I liked see the life of the people of the other countries, the food, eat fish and chips, and drink tea. Also know it´s markets and the ambient, besides I liked to visit the English Channel and a lot of other places.

I liked visit Europe, because of little girl I want visit Europe, and know your history and a lot of places, I travel with my family, because they always visit other places, for example London, Italy, France, etc. and a weekend with my family in other country would be very funny and interesting.

This travel would be possible with money, because with money I could pay the passages, the food, lodging, etc, etc, but in this moment, I have not money to travel, so I have that hope. 

Ritual! The welcome to "los mechones"

This Wednesday, the students of anthropology, the give the welcome to “los mechones”, students of first year of Anthropology. But how? The students of anthropology of second year doing a ritual, this is the welcome to the mechones and a tradition in this career. In this ritual the older students, sponsor to the new students and doing different activities for to celebrate the arrival of the mechones to the univerty.

The ritual is a moment where the new students share with the older students and receive a new name and are sponsored and this person, man or woman, can help with the test, books for study, etc. I think that the ritual is a good activity, because in this moment you meet with the person who can share for the rest of your studies in the university, besides share with partners. But, lamentably I could not go to the ritual because I was sick.

Expectations for a new semester

Hello, this is my first year in the university, and this semester I am studying different subjects, as Archaeology, Philosophy of Social Sciences, Anthropology, Biology, Methodology for Social Sciences Research and Latin-American History, all are interesting, because I am learning new things, for example the difference between the individual and person, etc.

In my free time I am a volunteer in a laboratory of osteopathy in FACSO, it is not a subject, it is an extracurricular activity, I wanted yoga but for time I could not, but maybe the next semester.

I am not a part of other activities in the university, because these activities take time and the first year in the university is a year to adapt, and I don´t want to overcharge and finish stressed.

I expect many things for this new semester in the university, I want to learn a lot of things, to know other people, to get good marks and open my world.
